PROJECT ASSESSMENT - MOZAMBIQUE

Gateway Services responded to a request from a church for an assessment of its ministry efforts in the villages of Cumbana and Augustino Neto in Mozambique. The project had been progressing over several years, and had, to date, seen notable ministry results. It did however, recognise that, even
though positive results had been achieved, there was a need to streamline and improve upon system and project procedures.

By working alongside local chiefs and pastors, Gateway Services teams entered villages and collected information on individuals, households, churches, schools and clinics, together with general village infrastructure.

Through the evaluation of databases and topographical maps created from the data collected, the projects current and past phases and progress were assessed. This information, together with the client's vision, was used to modify current methodology, thereby using resources effectively to achieve
optimal future results.
